Hey Friends! I’m Mark Carnes. My passion for living and wanting to help others to fall in love with living, comes from the One who gave me life—Jesus Christ!
I grew up in the once small-town of Waxhaw, NC. After graduating from Wingate University on a tennis scholarship and spending a year in Nashville, TN pursuing a recording contract, I felt called to full-time ministry. I am currently serving as the Lead Pastor of He’s Alive Church in Kannapolis, NC, a church I helped to start, along with others, in 2013. I use the Scriptures, along with creativity and life experiences, to pour into and encourage the lives of others. I am also a Men’s High School Tennis Coach & Trainer. I love being married to my wife Lori and being a dad to our three boys!
This is a book written to help people fall in love with every single moment of living life. It is a book written to bring hope, encouragement, and inspiration. It was written with both smiles and tears, for both the joys and adversities of life, and in anticipation of the glory of life in eternity.
In every routine, mundane experience of life, there are miraculous wonders waiting to be discovered. Life is not meant to be ordinary. Every moment of life can be abundant, is miraculous, and is pointing us to something even greater beyond this life—glory in eternity. The God who created us is not random. He has a divine, extraordinary plan and purpose for every moment of our lives, particularly when we surrender our lives to Him. Along the way, we find the miracles in the mundane, and they all matter!
I believe in, and want to spread the message in this book because I have come to discover its truth in my own life. Even if you are not a person of faith or a believer in God, this is a message for all in learning to get the best out of life…in both the good, the difficult, and the hard times. Open the pages and give it a try!
